Add Hard Drive to Expand Existing RAID 0 on HP Smart Array
Install the compatible hard drive to the empty bay on the HP server and make sure that the new hard drive is showing under “Unassigned Drives”
Extend HP array logical drive to maximum size
Extend Windows Volume Where the Target VMdisk is Located on the Host
Go to Hyper-V Manager, select the target VM and edit the target VMdisk to expand the virtual hard disk
Extend Windows volume of the Target Volume
Verify the New Free Space on the Target Drive
